Valmont V-Firm Densifying Cream
Where V-Firm Cream Sits in the Routine
Valmont V-Firm Cream is the 50 ml densifying face cream in the V-Firm line, applied after the serum rather than instead of it. It sits with our firming creams.
What Valmont Says It Does
- Improves dermal density
- Increases elasticity
- Sharpens face contours
Valmont describes it as a lusciously comfortable cream that fosters dermal density and epidermal harmony, strengthening the skin's protective barrier and suppleness so the face reads with a more defined outline. These are Valmont's claims about its own formula rather than measured outcomes.
What Is In It
Valmont names three parts of the formula.
- Density Complex. Vitamin C with the amino acids lysine and proline, which Valmont says support collagen production, plus a glucosamine derivative for moisture, Immortelle flower extract for cohesion in the dermis, and copper, which Valmont says is needed for collagen and elastin synthesis.
- Peptide cocktail. Valmont calls this an anti-wrinkle booster.
- Vegetal squalane. Valmont says it strengthens the skin's natural barrier, moisturises and protects against oxidation.
Applying It
Valmont's directions are to apply a touch of cream all over the face and neck, morning and evening or either, after the serum and avoiding the eye contour area.
The serum step Valmont refers to is V-Firm Serum, which goes on first.
Questions About V-Firm Cream
Does it go on before or after the serum?
After. Valmont's directions put the cream on top of the serum, not underneath it.
Can it go around the eyes?
No. Valmont's directions say to avoid the eye contour area. V-Firm Eye is the product made for that zone.
How is V-Firm different from V-Lift?
They are separate Valmont lines. V-Firm is built around density, elasticity and contour. V-Lift is the brand's lifting and anti-wrinkle range, with its own neck and eye products.
Is there published evidence behind the density and elasticity claims?
Not that we could find. They come from Valmont's own product information, so read them as the brand's
